Tanda Luxe (Red LEDs) for Facial Wrinkles and Cheek Rosacea

Written by on June 22, 2012 in clinical trials, LED Therapy with 1 Comment

A clinical trial has been listed for the Tanda Luxe, a Red LED device that is to be used as a treatment for wrinkles and facial rosacea, especially on the cheeks.

The Tända Luxe is approved by the FDA for over-the-counter treatment of wrinkles, rhytides and fine lines around the eye region.
The trial will measure any reduction in crow’s feet and in the “primary features of rosacea utilising a rosacea grading scale”.

Secondary measures for the success of the trial are based on the participants’ and investigators’ satisfaction with aesthetic improvement.

The trial is looking for men and women aged 21-60 who have wrinkles of type 1-3 on the Crow’s Feet Grading Scale (I never even knew such a thing existed!) and/or rosacea on their cheeks.

Product Publicity

According to the Tanda Luxe web site and press releases:

“Luxe combines concentrated red light therapy, sonic vibration and gentle warming in a unique massaging treatment head to provide both the sensory and anti-aging benefits of a professional treatment.   Tända Luxe’s concentrated beams of red light therapy are delivered by a super-luminous LED array that produces a fractional phototherapy effect, effectively reversing signs of aging.   Red light is proven to increase the production of collagen and elastin for a firmer, plumper, more youthful-looking complexion over time. “

  1. I am a Tanda Luxe user. I use the red and blue light on my face. I also use the red and blue light on my ass. I am single, short, angry and hairy. I would be nothing without my Tanda Luxe!
