A clinical trial has been listed for the Tanda Luxe, a Red LED device that is to be used as a treatment for wrinkles and facial rosacea, especially on the cheeks.
The Tända Luxe is approved by the FDA for over-the-counter treatment of wrinkles, rhytides and fine lines around the eye region.
The trial will measure any reduction in crow’s feet and in the “primary features of rosacea utilising a rosacea grading scale”.
Secondary measures for the success of the trial are based on the participants’ and investigators’ satisfaction with aesthetic improvement.
The trial is looking for men and women aged 21-60 who have wrinkles of type 1-3 on the Crow’s Feet Grading Scale (I never even knew such a thing existed!) and/or rosacea on their cheeks.
