Hi Simon —
I do, I do! Here’s my story:
I had rosacea for years without realizing it. I just thought it was a peculiar sort of acne and treated it accordingly — doing all the wrong things, naturally, i.e., scrubs, peeling masks, alcohol-based cleansers — yowie! It just got worse and worse. About 12 years ago, my doctor looked at my rash and off-handedly prescribed cortisone cream, assuring me that this would “make it go away” — it just grew worse and worse. (I got disgusted and threw away the cortisone cream after about a week, thank goodness.) By the time a friend said to me “You know, Pat, I think you have rosacea”, I had a flaming red face almost all the time, with rashy-looking papules on my forehead, temples, cheeks and chin, behind my ears, and creeping past my hairline into my scalp. The constant itching and burning were driving me crazy, and I looked a mess.
After my friend’s extremely helpful remark, I researched “rosacea” on the ‘Net and discovered in approximately 5 minutes’ time that yes, indeed, this is EXACTLY what afflicted me. I quickly happened upon the Rosacea-LTD site, immediately ordered the disks, impatiently drummed my fingers on the table until they arrived, and set about using them religiously as soon as they arrived.
I didn’t notice much of a change for about a week, but then I discovered that I wasn’t getting any new papules, and that the redness in my face was starting to fade. It improved every week after that. After about a year of daily use, my breakouts were confined to my cheeks and chin, with occasional dots on my nose after a particularly bad flush. The condition of my skin continues to improve (I’ve been using the disks for 3 years now), but it’s not just the disks, although they help quite a bit. I’ve also become increasingly aware of my “flushing cycles”, my triggers and how to avoid or minimize them, and my general health. The one “lifestyle factor” that has helped me more than anything is my dedicated guzzling of 8 – 10 glasses of water each day — it definitely keeps me from flushing as frequently or as severely — although I’m also very careful about what I eat and drink. (I had to reluctantly give up my precious glass of Cabernet with dinner (sob!), but after some cautious experimentation, I discovered that I can safely sip a sissy-strength mixed drink like a margarita or a weak screwdriver without flushing. Life has its occasional compensations…..)
I’d like to contribute a bit more information that can help you to decide whether you want to try the disks or not: first, my skin tends to be oily, and is not nearly as delicate as some of the skin types I’ve been reading about in this forum. Yes, it’s sensitive, but I’ve never reacted to the Rosacea-LTD disks at all, and I know others with more sensitive complexions have reported that the disks irritated their faces. And the other thing I’d like to stress is that the good results take time and conscientious use — these disks weren’t a quick fix for me, but I consider them a very good natural alternative to the more medicalized solutions like antibiotics. I’m willing to accept occasional episodes of flushing and breakouts — I’ve mentioned before that I get my most dramatic rosacea episodes during PMS time — because at its absolute worst, my rosacea is now SO much better than it was three years ago that a bit of blotchiness now and then or a few spots don’t seem like much of a trial to me.
And someone else mentioned the cost, which is amazingly low compared with some of the other therapies available. My first order actually lasted for 2 years — I used the yellow disk every evening and the pink one every morning. Sorry to ramble on so, but I think all the details I’ve included will be helpful to those who are trying to decide whether this product will work for them or not.

“After about a year of daily use, my breakouts were confined to my cheeks and chin”
Who would use a product for an entire year with it taking that long to work? This is obviously a sales pitch and I think its wrong that you are tricking people with something like this. To make people suffer with something that will make their condition worse or waste a year of their time while they are trying this crap before they realize its not going to work and by then the condition is much worse and untreatable. I dont expect anything but censorship on this comment, but just wanted to let you know that its wrong what you are doing and there is karma in life for this type of stuff.
Actually I don’t see anything wrong with this user report. I have personally used rosacea-ltd for several years – mostly because I continued to get a benefit. One of the great things about this product is that it can be used for years with no side effects – unlike systemics and some other topicals.
Also it is worth noting that rosacea may develop over many years so expecting a reversal of symptoms in a short period may be unrealistic. Anything that reverses symptoms quickly should be looked at carefully to see if it is sustainable and safe.

I have used this for almost 3 months now. For me, this has worked wonderfully. Before this, all that would help would be taking twice daily doses of doxycycline and heaven help me if I forgot a dose. And Metrogel did nothing. My doctor spent 30 seconds with me each 6 months giving me no new treatment options. I am only using the disks and jojoba oil. Very happy with the results.
I agree to CJ- after reading a lot of posts you will get a feeling for it what is real and what fake or seals pich.
this what Pat wrote is not real.
“Pat Lucey, a satisfied Rosacea-LTD user” who would called yourself in such manier? It is very bad what you are doing to the milions of people seeking for help.
Yvonne
Hello Yvonne,
Pat was a well known and trusted member of the rosacea-support email group almost 10 years ago.
It is not entirely unusual to refer to oneself in the third person when writing a person review.

I am suffering from Rosacea and am seeking treatment options with no health insurance. On the fence about this product but every review I read sounds like a sales pitch. I am very skeptical about this product right now and would like to find a REAL person to talk to about it.
Hi Bud,
I, the owner of this site am a real person and I used this product successfully for several years.
I try hard to filter out the obvious sales pitches on all my pages.

Thanks for the reaponse Digital Davo I am really digging your site so far alot of good info. After digging around for reviews of this product I am finding some good stuff only bad thing i’ve heard was that the product doesnt last as long as advertised but I feel this is relative to how how often or how much the person uses. I have heard many stories of how this has really helped some people (some stories sound like they were copied and pasted from the products web site or written by mr bass and boney) nevertheless I feel there are enough real people with success that it warrants me to try it out. They offer a money back guarantee so my only concern is that it doesnt make my condition worse. I am going to try this product so if anyon could help me with some beginner tips or other products to use in conjuction my biggest triggers are the sun and i seem to flush daily at sundown like clockwork. Also light tasks or exercise even gets me red like taking a shower getting ready for the day i always seem to be getting flushes its really getting out of hand and i am not currently
usin any products i am a total beginner and am scared that its not cureable. I also feel I am developing occular Rosacea i have small lumps on the inside of my eyelids and my eyes feel bloodshot and irritated constantly i am a contact lens wearer and am wondering if this could cause problems. i am sorry for the long post but i really dont know anyone else i can talk to about this stuff that would understand. Thanks for anything you can contribute

Hi Bud, the information you get from B&B is a good place to start with using the product. I haven’t seen the information they provide in a long time, but the use of jojoba oil and drinking water are good bits of advice. Also be sure to start with the absolute minimum amount you can apply. I found the yellow disk took a while to get used to, but worked the best eventually.
I would expect them to last at least a year – maybe even longer.
You may want to seek professional advice for your eyes and get a positive diagnosis for ocular rosacea. I’d actually start there as this is more important than any facial symptoms for now.

ok so i ordered this product and ive been researching the disease more. Im not sure if i have rosacea or KPF i show symptoms of both and i cant afford a doctors diagnosis.
Hi David,
I was just wondering if you let me know how to use the discs.
I already do have them but have never used them as i am so scared that they will make me look worse!
I no longer have the info that you get with the disks, i have emailed b&b but they don’t sem to be very good at replying.
Thanks so much.
P.s Bud, how di you go with the disks? x
Is there any recent news on Rosacea LTD? Is it recommended for children with persistent flushing on the cheeks and chin? Anyone seeing continuous positive results?
My daughter spritzes water on her face every couple of minutes during the day to alleviate the stinging…do you think this product will work if she does that?
thank you
I just put in another order for the pinky-brown discs…I am not a shill for the company, but I have been using these discs since 1998. Nothing the dermatologist was giving me was working–my rosacea laughed in the face of wimpy Metrogel (I learned early not to use cortisone creams) and a round of tetracycline exposed in me the only drug allergy I appear to have.
In almost 20 years, Rosacea Ltd. has been the ONLY thing I have been using. The general itching and papules went away first–the itching stopped right away–then, slowly, the redness began to dissipate and while I still have a few (like 3) cappillaries that show, my face looks NORMAL!
I will still flush–for me, this all started with menopause–but as the hot flashes are starting to calm down somewhat, my flushing and rosacea symptoms are, as well.
The stuff works really well for me. I wash with Cetaphil liquid soap, have a Trader Joe’s bottle of Jojoba oil in the shower and put a couple of drops on my wet face, walk to the sink, rub a disc on my face and I am off on my day. It’s simple and nothing else has worked as well for me.
