This paper published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology details a clinical trial to prove that 3 products from LETI Pharma are able to reduce the redness of rosacea. The study was supported by LETI and trailed the use of their micellar water, cream and serum.

Trial participants were blinded and not informed about the product they were receiving. The group who received the 3 LETI SR products experienced a 16% improvement in facial redness, compared to 9% improvement in the control group. The amount of facial redness improvement was judged using a 3D image system called VECTRA. The reduction in the amount of red pixel intensity in successive high resolution images was used as the success indication.

How does LETI SR work?

LETI Pharma aren’t making too many solid claims about how their products work. At least now, though they can claim that their SR products do work better than the inactive carriers. Their web site makes claims about their method of action such as

They protect the wall of the micro-capillaries.

They reinforce the support structure of the micro-capillaries (anti-ageing effect).
