Epi Duo

Postby hoppertr65 » Mon Oct 09, 2017 5:50 pm

I was just diagnosed with stress induced rosacea. It's getting worse and spreading from my cheeks down to my neck and upwards toward my eyes.
I have a few questions:
My Dr prescribed Epi Duo prescription topical. I've only been using it for three days now.
How long does it take to work?
Does it work?
Can I put on makeup to cover this nastiness while using it?

Based on what the EpiDuo website puts out and a quick Google search, it is estimated to take 4-6 weeks for the medicine to begin showing effects. Apparently, you can also use it under make-up. They don't say how long to wait, but I know with MetroGel it's 15 minutes before you can apply anything else. You might want to give a quick call to your dermatologist's office and just ask the doctor how long it is recommended that you wait.
