Epiduo

Postby marigold » Fri Jul 15, 2016 12:35 pm

Hi, long time sufferer, first time poster.

I had been taking Doxy which helped with my rosacea flare ups greatly but decided I needed to stop due to digestive issues.

Of course the flare ups are back and worse than ever. My GP suggested I try Epiduo. I have been applying it once a night for four days and man, does it sting ALOT! It seems to be calming the bumps down which makes sense since it's for acne. Not sure if it will do anything for the redness. Just wondering if anyone else has stories about their use of Epiduo. Or if there is some consistent luck for redness and bumps in one prescription.

I don't know if you have access to Soolantra, but it seems to be doing pretty well as a treatment for the lumps and bumps of rosacea. Retinol acne treatments may be too harsh for some rosacea sufferers.

Can you try a lower dose doxycycline ?
