Is Elidel still Available?

Postby pompom29 » Sat Dec 17, 2011 5:21 am

Hi,

I was wondering where the Elidel website disappeared and then found out that the brand has changed hands. I am worried about the availability and will head out later today to stock up. Are you still able to buy it? is it available by a new name? Please let me know.

Hi
In the US it is a prescription drug. I am unaware that it has been discontinued.

Hi Fanny,

It is a prescription drug here in India as well. I will visit the pharmacy tomorrow and check.

I would say that Elidel will still be easily available for the foreseeable future.

The amount of money that has changed hands and the value in the brand name will ensure that the new owners do everything to keep it easily available.
