Galderma's Ivermectin is Soolantra

Postby David Pascoe » Wed Dec 17, 2014 1:47 am

Just a wild guess, but Galderma will go with Soolantra for the product name for their 1% Ivermectin cream product (known as CD5024).

It does look like an interesting alternative to Metrogel.

I have a question about soolantra. It seems that whenever I go into the sun I get whiteheads in the tee zone on my face especially on my nose. Even with zinc sunblock.I was wondering if maybe the uv light is killing the demodex mites? And that's why so many whiteheads. So soolantra should clear this up?

I would doubt demodex are giving you whiteheads more likely another reaction of some sort. Just a guess though.
