Prescription Pain Killers for Burning/Stinging Pain?

Post by jlorenc6790 »

Hello,

The burning/stinging symptom of Rosacea is by far the one I can tolerate the least. I am wondering if pain killers like oxytocin could be a source of relief from the pain. I am aware of the dangers of pain killers (addiction, overdose), and if this turns out to be a viable option, it would only be temporary as I am planning on having VBeam this winter to attempt to stop the burning.

Any insight would be helpful.

PS. I am aware that pain killers can cause flushing, however this has not been my experience in the past when taking them for an injury.

Thank you.
