Hi I too asked my Dr please if my FEW little viens AROUND MY NOSE AND A COUPLE ON MY CHEEKS that you are about to Vbeam are going to get worse and create mores broken caps(LIKE I HAVE BEEN NOTICING IN THE PAST) I dont want it done. He said no way it will make it better. I said it again and he re-assured me.... well my broken Caps went away straight away (I LOOKED BEAUTIFUL FOR THOSE 5 DAYS )for exactly 5 days the 6th day i woke up and had a face FULL of broken caps 4 times as worse than before and in all differant places!!!! He said oh it was because you wanted me not TO be aggresive and I will do another pass that would be four. I said Wooooo Nelly...I let him do a little path on the side of my face so we will see if they come back it has only been 3 days and my magic number seems to be 5!!!!
I have been to another Dr. yesterday and she used an IPL on one little cluster and one deep vesseel one ? She will try Gemini as well if thee dont take and make me worse next time. I am waiting anxiously for another 5 days to make SURE that they dont pop back and create even more broken caps. I am beyond myself with anxiety!!! They are seriously now all over my face. PLEASE ANYONE OUT THERE WITH THIS SAME THING HAPPENING TO THEM AND HOW YOU GOT RID OF THEM OH PLEASE TELL ME I CAN GET RID OF THEM!!AND GIVE ME SOME HOPE!
PS YOU THINK THE VBEAM JUST TRIGERS MY ROSACEA? OR IS THERE OF ANYONE ON RECORD THATKNOWS IF ALL LASERS MAKES THIER BROKEN CAPS WORSE???I ONLY HAD IT AROUND MY NOSE THATS IT BEFORE.....
20 MINUTES WITH A VBEAM LASER RUINED MY FACE I m going so crazy now so I am posting to myself.....It has been 12 days now since my horror of a Vbeam treatment..and if you have read my post prior I had a patch test done and they came back in that little area I let the dr do as he wanted to do my whole puffy inflamed face again!!!...So thankful i didnt let this dr do another pass all over my face.....I went to another dr and she did a little patch with IPL and a little patch with something else not sure....a deep vessel laser.....the IPL is much better and the deep vessel laser is gone!! So every week now for the next 3 months i am here in Vancouver i will go back to this dr and see if my horror Vbeam treament can be corected. Really Praying it will....I started out with just a few around my nose now have a face fulll.I have had to go on anxiety pills as i am traumatized looking at my once beautiful face.Oh and another path of broken caps popped up on my chin today.
Hi
In a lot of the postings I have read about vbeam, they indicate that it can take up to 4 weeks to recover from the treatment. I am not sure that doing more treatments(ipl or whatever) in such a short space of time is a good idea. It might be that you should be on a course of antibiotics to help with the inflammation. I am so sorry that you are going through this, but give your skin time to recover and be gentle with it.
Best wishes
Fanny

Any clue which clinic or specialist in vancouver??
I've been recieving Vbeam treatments from a cosmetic dermatologist for about a year now and have had decent results. I have very stubborn capillaries--I don't even bruise on high laser settings. I do however swell like crazy with this laser, which is typical. The swelling has lessened as I've recieved more treatments at progressively higher settings. (I guess deeper settings don't case as much superfical swelling? Not sure.)
Capillaries appear more noticeable immediately after laser treatments, but it's temporary and just part of the process. It takes me about two weeks to fully heal after a treatment. A lot of people get scared because of this, but just talk to your dermatologist if you're concerned. Hope this information helps!
