Could this possibly be Seborrhea?

Postby RosaceaIsNotFun » Fri Sep 09, 2011 12:37 pm

FYI: My skin looks redder in reality (because my camera didn't capture the true essence of it all).

I am 17 years old (male).

Been having this condition for quite a while now (I would say about 1.5 years +).

THIS CONDITION IS AFFECTING BOTH MY NOSE AND CHEEKS.

My symptoms:

Some days are worse than others. Meaning, some days it can worsen by increased redness and red "pimples/acne".

I also have blackheads, lots and large in size.

scaly and rough skin (especially in the corners of my nose).

Persistent redness

My doctor prescripted me this cream that goes by the name: "Fungoral 2 % , Ketoconazolum".

Will this have any effect at all? ( I am starting today).

I ALSO ADDED TWO IMAGES!

Hi and welcome
If it is seborrheic dermatitis, it should respond to the cream you have been prescribed. Please be patient as it will take some time to take effect.
Best wishes
