There is a lot of interest in how what you eat can affect your rosacea. Some foods can cause a flareup in rosacea symptoms. Also the makeup of your diet in general will affect your health for sure and also your rosacea.

Sugar...Desert...Pie...Cake...Something...

Post by ihaveit2 »

What does everyone do to quench a sweet tooth. I have been off sugar for at least a year or more and think that I have tried every form of sugar and every substitute on the planet. I can eat green apples, asian pears, blackberries, and yams and that is as close as it comes to sweet. Would love to hear what others do about this. Aching for a piece of pie, cake, something different for a special occasion. HELP! (wave)

I blend (in a food processor) dates with coconut and any nut, walnuts work well. Then press this into a pie plate and put berries on top.

Just the blended dates and coconut are good and they can be formed into balls and then rolled into crushed pecans.

I also will get frozen blueberries and put stevia on top, that is very sweet and very good.

Target sells organic pitted dates that taste like candy.

Good luck with that sweet tooth, I know it's painful, I'm living the same life. All I can think about is sugar and fat!!

It is very difficult for me to replace it with something, and the only thing that helps me is dates, I just eat 2-3 with tea every day and it calms me down
