`Systemic' is just a fancy name for tablets that you take that can affect your whole `system'. Stop in here to talk about antibiotics, accutane and other sorts of oral therapies.

Cortisone injection cleared up Rosacea?

I had a series of cortisone injections for a pinched nerve in my neck and noticed that with each one, my complexion would even out and my redness would reduce markedly, even though the steroid itself would make the rest of my body hot and flushed for at least a day as it took effect. Anyone else experience this? I know steroids are sometimes used to treat rosacea, so I would love to find something that I could take regularly.
