Clonidine Working But Side Effects Overwhelming

`Systemic' is just a fancy name for tablets that you take that can affect your whole `system'. Stop in here to talk about antibiotics, accutane and other sorts of oral therapies.

So I went to see my derm the other day, one who has put me on clonidine in the past without hesitating, and she said that although Propanarolol is not a bad option, she didn't feel comfortable giving me a prescription without regular checkups on my blood pressure, which my regular physician would have to do.

Basically she said I should try and get the prescription from my regular doctor. However, I'm inclined to think he won't give it to me. In my experience, primary care physicians are not understanding enough about rosacea and are hesitant to prescribe things like clonidine and such for rosacea. They don't consider it serious enough.

So I don't know what else to do...any thoughts?

How long did it take for the Clonidine to start working for you? I was put on it two days ago and was just curious when it starts to take effect?
