Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Wipes, no rinsing needed

I feel like a bit of a Galderma PR machine at the moment, but Galderma do seem to be doing a lot. Maybe this product is yet another step in Galderma’s quest  to own the Rosacea Market.

So coming soon is a moist cloth version of Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.

Have you ever wished that you had a gentle cleanser in your bag, but didn’t want to carry round a pump pack? No, me neither.

Still, I guess it is an option for travelling especially considering the restrictions on fluids on aeroplanes.

The cloths are promoted as not needing any rinsing after use. This might be another benefit – if you don’t have access to water and need to clean your face.

I’m not sure I would go for not rinsing as my usual way of cleansings though – what about you?

  1. looks like they still have alcohol in their products, 2 different kinds. This is why I had to give up on them years ago, that and isn’t it petroleum based?

  2. KC says:

Surprised the put Cetyl Alcohol in the ingredients as so many articles and people say how they cant do alcohol topically. We enjoy your updates and know you aren’t pushing any particular corporate brand or product, : )

  3. The topic if the types of alcohol in cetaphil comes up a lot – I always liked Dr Sy’s take on it Cetaphil Liquid Cleansers with Alcohol and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, I think it is a helpful response. These alcohols are probably not an issue for most of us.
