Galderma Laboratories is probably the largest skin product company in the world manufacturing the metro twins of Metrogel, Metrocream, as well as Metrolotion,  Differin solution, Differin Gel, Desowen Ointment, DesOwen Lotion, DesOwen Cream, Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion, Cetaphil Moisturing Cream, Cetaphil Gentle skin Cleanser, Cetapil antibacterial gentle Cleansin bar,as well as the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing barfor dry sensitive skin,…and many other lesser know rosacea related products…….hoped you noticed the steriods listed that some of you have used adversely for rosacea…..

The bottom line is results from the Cetaphil non-soaps made by Galderma Laboratories:

Cetaphil ‘gentle cleansing bar for dry, sensitive skin’ has given the best results for skin with rosacea and acne. Wash the entire body with Cetaphil® (non-soap) gentle cleansing bar as needed which would be one or two times per day for dry or normal skin, and three or four times daily for oily skin.

Please do not pick the Cetaphil Skin Cleanser in a plastic bottle containing two alcohols, the Cetaphil anti-bacterial, nor the Cetaphil Bar for oily skin as all three are too harsh for the rosacea-sufferer.

Sure everyone is different, but time will tell that this is the ‘way to bet on the “horses” and especially on rosacea skin…….

Hi I am new to this website have rosacea with paps also red skin flushing, I use metrogel 0%75 twice a day also did have antibiotics till today which did not help. I was given Dixarit tablets to help with the heat redness I get on my neck, face and chest. Hopefully these tabs will help.

My Doctor checked out my blood pressure today as the Dixarit tabs were originally prescribed by the Dermatologist I saw a few weeks ago. It was quite high but to be certain I get it checked out again in 2 weeks but in the meantime I have taken the tabs so far no problems and no flushing today.

I am learning to take this skin disorder a day at a time and have stopped worrying about what people think when they look at me as I never ever noticed anyone elses skin as being perfect anyway before this happened to me.

Love to hear what anyone thinks about sunsense sunblock 50 with tint. Cetaphil as I use gentle wash and moisture cream from that range. Been reading about there restoraderm body wash and moisturiser any comments would be appreciated.
