Following is an announcement from Rosacea Care.
EXCITING NEWS
We have just received word that four products that have been important to many rosacea sufferers will be available again later this spring. By arrangement with the originator of these products, the Rosacea Care Company will be manufacturing and distributing ZincO, Tinted ZincO, Vita-Oil and Oatmeal Cleanser.
The formulas will be exactly the same as the originals, and they will be manufactured by the same laboratory. They will appear as part of the Rosacea Care catalogue with a slight increase in prices. These much loved products will be available on-line at rosaceacare.com.
I have been asked to tell you that the exact release dates have not yet been established. Please don’t contact Rosacea Care at this time. As soon as availability dates are known, they will be posted here and on their web site. Thanks to all of you who participated in our recent poll which provided valuable information and encouragement to those involved.

I know lots of people liked her bar soap; are they not considering having this available too?
Hi Cathy, as I understand it only the 4 products mentioned will be offered.
Amazing news. Thank you for your efforts in making this possible………I feel sorry for the people who use the less popular items. The Zinco is a god send to a lot of us.
Thanks so much for your efforts in this – I only discovered yesterday that I could no longer order from Linda Sy and spent a few hours of panic searching for an alternative to zinco and the oatmeal cleanser. It’s amazing how reliant you can become on a couple of bottles of a product! It was great to see some action was being taken by other users. I was too late to vote in the poll, but well done to everyone for their support.
I am so very pleased with this news.
It has been so stressful wondering which soap, moisturizer, and sunscreen to try. I am truelly sorry for those whose products did not make it.
Thank you so much Digital Davo for all your time and efffort to make this possible and everyone out there who voted in the poll.
Yeah we know Bob you keep telling us.
Great news about the come back of some of Dr Sy’s products. Almost run out of Zinco though so I will have to go throught the expense of a compunding Chemist to tide me over until the Zinco becomes available again – do not have enough to last until the end of (USA) spring.
Bob – like the rest of us sorry that the bar soap is not coming back for you – could be expensive but find a compounding chemist – could be your only option.
David C.
Fabulous news. Thank you so much for pursuing this.
Please notify when availabilty begins.
I’m new here, but not to Rosacea. I’ve had it for many years now,I’m 48. I’ve gotten some seemingly valuable info today from this site, which I think is great!
My question is; can somebody tell me more about the benefits of Zinco? I’d appreciate it…
Thanks,
Steve B
ZincO, especially the tinted version works well for me because it protects my skin from the sun and other insults, while the tint helps cover over some of my redness. A daily sunscreen is important for my regime. As there are minimal ingredients the potential to irritate sensitive rosacea skin is reduced. That’s how I see it anyway – others may well have their own views.
dp.
The great thing about Tinted Zinco is it doesn’t go on like foundation, meaning men can use it without fear of looking “made up”. It provides coverage, and stays on even during sports activities. Untinted zinco tends to be too white and hard to rub in.
Thanks Digital Davo & Linda. It sounds like a product I could definitely benefit from. It’s hard to stay out of the sun while riding my Harley,so I will be trying the Tinted Zinco as soon as it’s available again. I did go to rosaceacare.com and signed up. And I’m sure as soon as it is available again someone on this site will post the info… thnx all, Steve B
I’ve used this remedy on my son. It does work, however, only with constant use.
But, just so you guys and gals know BIOSKINCLEAR is a very good remedy to fight off Rosacea.
Up too you …
Hi Kathleen, I’m new to this site,so I would appreciate more info.,like where can I get BIOSKINCLEAR,and how much does it cost?
thnx, Steve B
Thanks guys! That’s SO AWESOME.
this is really good news!
Hi!
I just found out about the Linda Sy closer. I was PANIKED. ZINCO is the only and I mean ONLY sunscreen I can use without getting cystic acne, excema flares etc. THANK YOU to all of you who made it possible for this product to be offered again. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Thank you so much guys! I love the Oatmeal cleanser.
Can someone please tell me where I can get ZINCO??
Riding season is here and I definitely need a good sunblock!
Thnx
when zinco come back
Will someone PLEASE tell me where I can get Zinco?? Is it available yet???
Hi Steve, it is not available until later this spring. That is the best guess at the moment.
Thanks Davo… Will there be an announcment,I really want/need to try it…
Thanks for the notice, Davo! This is great news!
I’ve used the Mild Oatmeal Facial Cleanser and Vita-Oil the last couple years, and they’ve made a night and day difference.
I hope this re-release happens very soon. I’m very much looking forward to placing my order.
Please keep us updated!
Panic had set in and I was desperate to replace my Vita-Oil and Linda Sy’s wonderful line of skin care. I must have felt the products a purchased, when she closed her office, would just keep going on and on. Well, I am down to the last few drops of Vita-Oil and I want to be able to get more. Please let me know how and when the reentry of this product will occur. I am ready to purchase.
Thank heaven I went online and searched for Vita-Oil never thinking I would be able to find it.
Lucky day!
Janet
Is there any new information on when the Lynda Sy Tinted Zinc O will be available. I went on the Rosaceacare website and there was still no info on release date. Tinted Zinc O was the only sunscreen I can use without irritation and I am in a panic as I am down to about 1/8th of a tube left.
Over at the Community Forum Site Scooter Boy has posted this update from RosaceaCare.
“”We are getting very close to confirming a ‘release date’ on the tinted ZincO. We are in the final stages of packaging and the formula is ready and waiting. Once the production is complete on the 1st product we are releasing: Vita-Oil, the ZincO-Tinted will run next.
So in short, when we have confirmation the packaging is filled by manufacturing, we will send out a press release to everyone on our list; we promise!
We are very excited that the release is coming soon and very anxious to send out the good news. Many thanks in the interim, for your patience.”
Great news! It won’t be too soon.
There’s not a mention about the Oatmeal Cleanser in this release. I hope this will still be manufactured as well. It’s the ONLY cleanser my skin tolerates.
Dave, any word on this?
Hi
Could you let me know when the oatmeal cleanser is available as i am patiently waiting for this date.
Horrahh thats all i can say.
Thanks
Fiona
How can I get on your list so that I can be advised when the Zinco Tinted becomes available. Like the previous posts, this is the only sunscreen that works for me- my rosacea continues to become worse each year. I have tried everything on the market and nothing even comes close to this product.
Thanks!
Wendy, if you use your real email address and click “Notify me of followup comments via e-mail” at the bottom of the comment form you get an email every time that someone leaves a comment. When something is announced you will then see it that way.
Great news that a release date is approaching!! I’ll click the “Notify me….” at the bottom.
Best regards from Denmark (where ZincO-tinted is also the one and only sunscreen that is ok for my skin)
I am interested in the oatmeal cleanser release date, please notify me. Thank you.
Can’t live without Linda Sy products! I have very fair skin and I mix the tinted zincO with the plain zincO to match my skin tone. Love the vita-oil too! Can’t wait to get the notice of release!
Where will we be able to find zinc o when it is released? I have not used it, but after reading all the comments about it, I cannot wait. I use Antiqua Prima products to cleanse and treat my skin and love them, but would love to try zinc o for the sunscreen.
i am a rosacea sufferer. where can i order the following products? zinc o, oatmeal cleanser, and vita oil?
Please notify me when the products discussed here are available.
Thanks!
pls let me know when dr sy zinco tinted is available again…ty!
Please let me know when Linda Sy tinted Zinco is available again! Can’t wait!
Yes, please, I’m down to just a few days’ more Vita-Oil, and I’m running low on Zinc-O, and I’m as desperate as the rest of you. I hope the people at RosaceaCare understand how desperate we all are!
Hi David,
Please notify me when the zinco and vita-oil available. Thanks you again for all your time and effort to make this happen.
Cherie’

Would love to know when zinco becomes available again!
Thanks!!
I too would like an update of all the Linda Sy products. Also, what is the best makeup for those of us who suffer with rosacea? Is Bare Minerals any good?
Much thanks.
Hooray!
Hi
Please could you also let me know when the tinted zinco is available as well as the oatmeal cleanser.
This will be much appreciated.
Thanks again.
Hi
Please let me know when tinted zinco and the oatmeal cleanser are available.
Thanks
Hi
Please let me know when tinted zinco and the oatmeal cleanser are available.
Just sending my comment again to check that i clicked the notify me button.
Thanks
Ug, I have been without my zinco for several months. My nose has become perpetually red. I am so excited that zinco will be available again.
For clarification purposes, the Sunscreen 30 on the Rosacea Care website is NOT the ZincO that you are referencing in this post? I want to verify before I purchase! Thanks!
Yes the Sunscreen 30 and ZincO Cream are different products – although they both use zinc oxide as their main active ingredient.
Please let me know when the Vita-Oil and Oatmeal cleanser are available.
Hi
Are we any closer to the availability day?
Fiona
I really wish the Oatmeal cleanser would be released soon! I’m hating trying to find a replacement. It’s not possible! Thanks.
Rhonda is unfortunately correct. There is no replacement for the Oatmeal Cleanser. Nothing else even comes close.
Hoping as well that the release happens soon.
Just signing up to be notified when zinco becomes available. Thanks
Please let me know when Linda Sy’s oatmeal cleanser and Zinco are available for purchase. Thanks.
great news about the tinted Zinc -O cream – please notify me when it becomes available. And thanks and well done to everyone on the site for lobbying for the return of these products!
So ready to try.
Please let me know when tinted zinco and the oatmeal cleanser are available.
Thanks
Thanks to all who are getting my favorite Linda Sy products back. Please let me know when I can order.
I’m down to the last bit of ZincO and I’m getting scared. It’s the ONLY thing that tones down the redness, doesn’t break me out and keeps the sun off my face. Please, please, please bring back this product. Both the tinted and untinted!
I noticed that the original announcement states that the products will be available late Spring. We’re now into Summer, and yet no products. It also seems like only one product will be released, at a time. I REALLY need the oatmeal cleanser!
Just wanted to share this with anyone who loved the Oatmeal Cleanser. I found cleanser similar in idea, but it seems like it might even be less drying than Linda Sy’s cleanser. It’s from Purified Skincare and here are the ingredinents:
aqua (water), colloidal oatmeal (avena sativa), USP vegetable glycerin, d-dexpanthenol (skin active b5), decyl glucoside, sodium hyaluronate, phenoxyethanol, xanthan gum, tetrasodium edta, d-calcium pantothenate
I just ordered it, because I need something, and I’m getting impatient with the release of the Oatmeal Cleanser on rosaceacare.

Sorry, the website for Purified Skincare is http://www.purifiedskincare.com. And, I am NOT affiliated with them in anyway. I saw this cleanser mentioned on makeupalley.com. Based on what I was reading on the product page of purifiedskincare.com, it’s good for rosaceans.
It’s sad to read all of these posts from people desperately waiting on Linda Sy products. It’s evidently not clear as to what product(s) is going to be released when (other than they’re getting ‘close’ or an announcement will be made ‘soon’). If anyone has success with the purified skincare cleanser, please let the readers know so we can try a product that can relieve our issues now. Thanks.
RosaceaCare has just announced that Vita-Oil Release Next Week. Tinted ZincO in July.
Mike L,
I have not tried the Purified Skincare cleanser, yet. I ordered it , yesterday. Once I’ve used it, I’ll definitely be sure to post my results. It looks VERY gentle, and I’ve heard great things about it. For now, it looks like the best alternative to the Linda Sy Oatmeal cleanser. It also appears as if it will be less drying. Hope this helps.
Rhonda
I’m on my third order of Purified Skincare’s oatmeal cleanser. It’s more calming and much less drying for me than Linda Sy’s. (I have very dry and easily irritated skin – with periodic redness). It doesn’t really foam and has a high amount of colloidal oats. It’s smells like sweet oatmeal.
BTW: It’s called Cleanse-Soothe-Hydrate
HTH
Thanks for posting this, Jen! I am really anxious to receive it then. I hope it works as well for me, as it has for you. I loved Linda Sy’s, but my skin is drier now, so the Cleanse-Soothe-Hydrate sounds like a better choice, anyway.
I have only a little more Zinco cream left. Can’t wait to hear that it is available for purchase again.
Has anyone tried the Purified Skincare tinted sun-zinc?
Unsubscribe from e-mail followup comments, please.
Purified Skincare’s cleanser doesn’t have a fragrance. I can’t tolerate any fragrance either. The scent is from the combination of colloidal oats and I guess the glycerin.
I’m still using the “superfatted” soap from Linda Sy from some years ago. I tried the oatmeal cleanser for a while but didn’t really think it cleaned as well. Has anyone found another “superfatted” soap that works for rosacea? Thanks.
I live in the South – very hot & lots of humidity during the summer months. Any recommendations for a cleanser that won’t exfoliate & yet not leave my skin too shiney? The rosacea has left me with large pours too. I never tried Linda Sy’s vita oil moisturizer & I’m thinking I don’t need more oil. I also never tried the tinted ZinCO – will that be too oily given my location & type of skin? Anyone else out there from the South? All comments appreciated.
Much thanks.
yay! I live in Australia & will be extrememly pleased when the tinted Zinco is available again…
My mother uses the Purified Skincare cleanser with good results. She has dry skin that is sensitive to just about everything.
I use their Sun-Zinc15 sunscreen and like it. I don’t use their cleanser because it’s not strong enough for me.
Vita Oil is available. No word on Zinco.

Mike L,
I have only used the Purified Skincare cleanser a few times, so far. I think it’s much less drying, and more gentle than Linda Sy’s Oatmeal cleanser. I hope that helps some. As I use it for a longer period of time, I can post my results, etc. I, too, tried the Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser and didn’t like it. I have used, and liked, Mary Kay’s Creamy Cleanser 2. I get it new on eBay (less money that way!).
Rhonda
RosaceaCare has announced that “Tinted ZincO will once again be available and ready to ship throughout the world on Friday, July 17, 2009. On-line purchases can be made in advance of that date by visiting our website at rosaceacare.com. The price for the three-ounce tube is $ 38 US.”
Mike L,
I have tried all of the cleansers you’re mentioning. I think the Linda Sy and Aveeno Ultra Calming were a little too drying for me. But, my skin tends to dry out easily. Someone with less dry skin will probably do well with both. As far as the Purified Skincare, my skin reacted, but I think I have issues with Decyl (Poly)Glucoside in cleansers. Right now, I’m using Mary Kay Creamy Cleanser 2 with some succcess. Still not a perfect cleanser, but it’s something my skin will tolerate, which has been a huge challenge for me. If my skin was oilier, I think I would use the Aveeno Ultra Calming. Hope this helps.
Rhonda
When will the non tinted ZincO be available? Any idea?
Just a big HUGE THANK YOU to everyone involved in making tinted Zinco available again. My skin is literally SAVED. I ordered 2 tubes today. Bless you!!!!!!
$38 plus $6 shipping for 3oz of Zinco!?!? And only a 20 SPF!?
Is this stuff really that good??
Yes, I second Michelle’s thank you. Indeed, all the work that’s been put in is so appreciated. My ruddy face is smiling again!
I’ve never tried the Tinted ZincO. Is this a product for someone who lives in the deep South where it’s HOT with a lot of humidity? I’d like to hear from someone who’s had great success with using it in the Houston, TX area. All replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
DT,
I live in New Orleans. You can’t get much hotter or humid than here. And I wear both the tinted and untinted ZincO. It’s not oily or greasy. It definitely has a slight sheen to it, but it’s barely noticeable. I wear it everyday. And, i wear it over my moisturizer which is jojoba oil…yes, even in New Orleans!! Hope this helps.
So, the Vita Oil and Zinco have been released? I wish we all knew when to expect the cleanser’s release!!!
To Rosacea Care:
Thanks for releasing the Vita-Oil and the Zinco Cream.
We really would love to know the release date of the Oatmeal Cleanser, and that it’s soon .
Thank you.
I just bought my Zinco from Rosaceacare. I can’t wait for it!
Are they going to make the untinted(white) ZincO??? Anyone?…Anyone?….Bueller?….Bueller????
Please let me know. Thanks!
I ordered & started using the tinted ZincO 2 weeks ago & it’s awesome. I used to use Linda Sy’s Sperior Cream. Did anyone use that Linda Sy product? If so, have you found an alternative that you’d recommend? Much Thanks.
Comment via email from Janet.
“Hi,
I have just run out of Linda’s Superior Night Cream too. I haven’t tried anything else but thought I would order the night cream from Rosacea product line. It would be great to hear if anyone has tried the Rosacea cream and if they liked it.”
Any update on availability of Linda Sy’s Oatmeal Cleanser? I never received a response about Linda Sy’s Superior Night Cream. If anyone used the Night Cream & found a good alternative – Rosacea cream? If it’s working please let me know.
Thanks
Is anyone out there?????
No responses, conversation, or advice since 10/2009. Is everyone going to another site for their support? No update on the Linda Sy Oatmeal Cleanser? No recommendations for the Night Cream? I really value the thoughts & comments on this site. Where is everybody? I miss you.
The oatmeal cleanser will be the next product made available by RosaceaCare, but no date available yet.
I suspect no one yet has a good recommendation for a night cream. What ones have you tried ?
davidp.
Thanks for the update Dave -I didn’t get an e-mail notice that you had responded 10/2009 or I would have ck’d this site sooner. I’m still using Linda Sy’s Superior night cream a little dab at a time – I only have 10% left. But, as the cooler weather moves into the South this won’t last me much longer. I’d be willing to try any type of moisturizer (day or night) if you can recommend anything. Much thanks.
Well I’m not much of an expert on moisturizers but I currently use Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion – being a guy I don’t have much experience to draw on, sorry.
I’ll try it & thank you so much for your kindness in responding. Will look FWD to the availability of the Oatmeal Cleanser.
dt
Hi is there any news on the oatmeal cleanser
Hi Fiona,
RosaceaCare have just let me know that their Oatmeal Cleanser is available to purchase online and will ship from December 14.
They have confirmed that the formulation and lab are the same as when it was made for Linda Sy.
The URL to order is
http://rosaceacare.com/orders/order.html

How will I know when and where to purchase the Vita-Oil and Tinted Zinco. I need some ASAP.
Hi Joan, you can go to
http://rosaceacare.com/orders/order.html
to order the tinted ZincO Cream and Vita-Oil.
Thank you very much. Going to order now!
Got my order rather quickly. Grateful, but did not get all of what I ordered and not the right products?????? New company to me. I don’t want to lose trust in them too quickly.
Got my new order straightened out. Will continue to purchase from them and will encouraged others as well. Pleased customer!
What size is the cleanser on rosaceacare? It looks like it’s only about 4 oz, based on the product picture. I’m a little disappointed that they are selling 1/2 the product (Linda Sy’s cleanser was 8 oz), for $5 more.
vita-oil-for delicate skin==very very important for rosacea skin and please start making the acne cover lotion –works better for coving nose then the zinc-o the zinc-o is also very important to us –thank you jerry
RosaceaCare have let me know that the untinted zinco cream is now called Translucent Zinco and will be available from mid July. The name has changed but the formulation is the same as before.
