I spot tested Prosacea and at first I thought it was a miracle drug. It looked like the redness had already faded a little. But later that night my face started to itch and the bumps came on with a vengeance. Now my face looks so bad that I don't even want to go out in public. I'm so upset and disappointed.

I just saw a commercial on TV for Prosacea and came here to read the reviews. For the price I will give it a try. I am 45 and at the onset of Menopause. That's when I noticed a small patch spread to my whole face and now my neck and chest. My concern is that it will make my dry skin even dryer. I use Aloe now and finds that helps with the warmth and redness a little. I wonder if using Aloe along with this treatment will produce different results. I will let you know.

my boyfriend just purchased prosacea for me after seeing it at walgreens and knowing how bad having rosacea affects my emotional well being. i was so excited when he showed me,i came to this site for some info on prosacea and found alot of mixed reviews,i guess i can only find out for myself so i just applied some to a small area so far the isnt any odor at all and only a slight sting i will report back after a few days of use and give my results.

I tried prosacea just recently as my face has been flushing more. I did a test patch on my face without noticeable reaction. Then I used it for three days. By the morning of the 4th, my rosacea was so much worse (like 3-4X) than it has ever been that I put the stuff away. Fortunately, the eye surgeon I was seeing that day for my recurrent corneal erosion saw my face and put me on doxycyline (rosacea and RCE interact bigtime). So the prosacea experiment probably had a good outcome, just not the one advertised.

I've had fairly mild Rosacea for about the last 20 years and used Metrogel off and on, but it didn't seem to help much. For the last few years, my main problem has been pustules that appear, which are sore and take a long time to go away. A week ago I woke up with a patch of about 15, which is probably the worst outbreak I've had. I had a big Margarita the night before; not sure if this could have been the cause. I searched online that day and found this site and the information on Prosacea. I immediately got some and have been applying 2-3 times a day. Right away it seemed that it started to shrink the bumps. A week later my face is much better - I'm expecting within a few days it should be clear again. It seems that Prosacea worked pretty well for me. It has a slight odor, but not too bad, and I didn't have any significant problem with drying or irritation. I'm going to continue to use it and see if it helps prevent future outbreaks.

So far So good. I bought it Yesterday I was having a really bad breakout . The underground bumps that hurt with really red nose. I have had this condition for 22 yrs Seem to come on with the Birth of My Last Child. I have used Metrocream , MetroGel, Finacea, Antiboitics nothing except Elocon which is a topical steroid seemed to help. I was anxious to find something over the counter that was reasonable. I think I have found it. the sores seemed to have dryed up some and redness is much lighter in one day. I am an Office Manager not a paid Blogger. The pain I was in and the soreness seem to have lessoned. So lets hope this is my Miracle. Believe me I need one. I am tired of having kids say boy your sun burned or what is wrong with your face. I am sometimes a little mean and say I have a disease.
I hope this helps someone. I believe it is working for me. YEA!!!!!LoL!!!!! Something that has not made it worse so far..

I love this stuff! I've been using it for about 3 or 4 days, and my face looks normal for the first time in years! I've always had a red face, while the rest of my body had a nice beautiful pale 'normal' tone with yellow undertones. You could actually see the line on my face where one color ended and the other started. Now i'm all the same shade, and i'm very greatful. :)
Woo Hoo! :)

Homeopathics are energetic medicines. In Homeopathic preparations, the'active ingredients' are diluted over and over until they are undetectable in the final product, and are believed to gain strength with each dilution. 10X does not mean 10% sulfur; it means that the sulfur has been diluted ten times, a relatively low strength dilution in homeopathic terms. Remedies can be diluted hundreds of times. Homeopathic sulfur might indeed be the correct remedy for a particular rosacea client, but certainly not for every individual with the condition. Homeopathy is not a one remedy treats all system, as the individual is valued and considered when selecting a specific remedy for treatment. But generally, if it's not the correct remedy for the individual, there is no adverse side effect with a homeopathic remedy. There are quite a few other ingredients in this product that could be causing the irritation in some users mentioned here.

I love Prosacea. I live in Sweden and bought it at CVS for 10 dollars, I have terrible skin after I got pregnant, it´s now 8 years ago. In Sweden the only help I got is penicillin, but I don´t like eating it. I hade ILP, but it didn´t help. I LOVE this creme, I have a totaly new skin, no burn, no redness. Recommend!
