I have had years of minimal, but still embarrassing and painful rosacea on my nose and cheeks. I had tried everything, from prescription creams to home remedies, and to these over the counter creams. Prosacea did work for me, but not very well over the long term. And I wanted to find a fix for my rosacea rather than a constant symptom-treater. I have been following all of your responses for the last year and have greatly appreciated hearing about others’ experiences, so I wanted to share my latest experience with Rosacea.

I walked into a BlueMercury store with the intention of getting new makeup–mine was old and cheap–and ended up chatting with a sales clerk about what in the store might be good for skin with rosacea. She ended up steering me towards creams from the INTRAL line of DARPHIN, a french skin care company. I took home testers of the INTRAL cleansing milk, and used it with a day and night cream both designed for reducing redness. Over 3 days, my rosacea went completely away. Then my bumpy, itchy chin (eczema) started calming down and clearing up. Now my face is clearer than I’ve EVER seen it, like I can’t even remember because even in high school I had these rosacea problems.

It is expensive, but I’m sure many of you would say it’s worth every penny when compared with the frustration and time/money of constantly changing your remedies. I hope it works for others!!!

I’m glad to hear it. It is too bad no one product works for everyone. Prosacea gave me a new lease on life after a long stint with severe rosacea. My sister-in-law gave our family a calendar full of photos taken throughout this past year as a Christmas present. I was stunned to remember how terrible my skin looked as recently as October. It is now late January, and my skin still looks clear. A bit rosey, but no more bumps and peeling.

My husband has had rosacea for the last 6 years…and it was terrible for him. I bought him a tube of prosacea and it has cleared up his rosacea completely. He uses it sparingly, is still on his first tube, and can even skip days now. He’s gone from painful looking red spots and bumps and red lesions on his nose to having clear skin again. Prosacea is amazing.

Everybody is different. I haven’t really noticed any difference from the Prosacea. I think the only thing that would help your broken blood vessels, Norma, would be something like laser or intense pulsed light. These days you can get reduced rate if you look on Groupon. As for foundation not covering it, have you tried a good green or yellow concealer? Perhaps you could try something like Lycogel’s green concealer.

I don’t recall all the brands, but I’ve seen at least two advertise that they are designed to cover the red after facial treatments. Those might help you. I’m about to try Glo Mineral’s Redness Relief under my foundation. I’ll come back and review it.

I posted earlier but forgot to say something. With Christmas upon us, they will have to find a Santa replacement for me. I NO LONGER HAVE A RED NOSE!!!

I have been using Prosacea for a few months now. The results were amazing. It says not to work out because it might cause flushing(redness)and provoke the nasty redness and “zits” that accompany Rosasea. Well hate to say the directions are wrong but they are. I did some of my own experimenting and no flare ups even after the workouts. I may be one of the lucky ones but my next experiment will be going to the beach and bake for awhile

I don’t think that the cream will do anything for broken blood vessels……it has helped tremendously with my redness and bumps and irritated skin caused by Rosacea but really don’t think it will help with vessels………..

I think i just have broken blood vessels. No foundation makeup will cover it. Will prosacea or anything help. Nothing has. Thanks

I am continuing to use it once or twice a day everyday. It has really helped so much. My skin still has some redness, but the extensive bumps and peeling I had for years are completely gone.

How long do we have to use prosacea? i mean after the rosacea has been cured should i stop using the tube or will the rosacea start again? if you guys could help me out!
