If you suffer from Rosacea, and you're looking for an alternative to harsh prescription medications such as Metrogel, I highly recommend the Green Tea Toxin Cleanser from Made from Earth. Metrogel does seem to dry out those tiny bumps and pustules, but it leaves my face terribly dry and aggravates the redness factor. I've been using the Green Tea Cleanser for a week, and I've already noticed an improvement in overall skin tone and texture. In fact, I saw a reduction in redness just a few hours after the first application!

I still use Metrogel as a spot treatment for bumps, but I will NEVER AGAIN apply it to large areas of my face.

I have mild rosacea. I was on an 8 week study for Oracea with Metrogel. Unfortunately at week 4, I developed joint pain in my right hip and I was unable to complete the study. Joint pain is a rare side affect of Oracea, so please be careful. However, I did see results. If you don't develop side effects then this would be something you might want to try. I now just use metrogel and it works really well for me. It does dry out my skin but I moisturize well. Hope this helps.
