I have had rosaeca for about ten years. with very little symptoms mostly flushing with sun and alcohol. but over the last year has gotten worse. always red, irritated, extremely sensative. I have been on finacia seemed to help in the begining but I'm to sensative now. I have tried Cetaphil its ok, Purpose was to drying, Clinique redness relief very moisturizing didn't irritate, am now trying cerave. So far so good moisturizing, gentle non irritating. But always looking for something better. any suggestions?

Truly like a maze. I have tried Cetaphil, CeraVe, and the Aveeno products. The Cetaphil started to burn and the other two did not make my face feel clean. I have found a Philosophy product, Purity, that I think I am going to like. Pricey but at this point, I think I will try anything.

Hi, I am using Cerave as a moisturizer and love it, the Aveno has a sunscreen which is better but the Cerave is very soothing. Cerave also has a cleanser I have not tried it.

I have tried it and I agree. Have you tried the moisturizer too? I am curious if it has the same effect.

Hi, I have had great success with Aveno foaming cleanser, it has calming chamomile, and other soothing properties, works like a charm. Hope this helps.

I am one of those people who have reacted to Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser. I used for a long time but had a major flare-up and now it burns my skin. I am using a Phytomer product that is gentle by costly. I am not sure it cleanses as well as I have had continual outbreaks on my nose. Any ideas on OTC products?
