I am 52 years old and about 6 months ago towards the end of summer, I had inflamatory bumps on my nose. I went to a dermatologist and she prescribed Ziana. I have been using it for almost 3 months now, and I'm sorry to say it did not help at all.

One does have to wonder if there is room in this market for another topical ... maybe it will help some, I guess.

Medicis is also the maker of Solodyn, as mentioned in the article, the absurdly expensive antibiotic sometimes used for rosacea. Let's see, should I take a perfectly effective $5 doxycycline or $450 Solodyn pills? (these are based on what the drug store was actually going to charge me for each...)

More of the same from the medical community. The last thing the rosacea world needs is more P&P treatments, while those with flushing and redness would give their right arm for a good medication, and yet no products.
