I initially had the condition in my left eye, and now it has been in both eyes for quite some time. Currently, I am having the most severe case with my right eye that consists of 2-3 sytes that has inflamed my upper right eyelid to the point that the pressure has blurred my vision a fair bit. At the present time, my right eye is quite misshapen due to this extreme inflammation. Initially, it seemed the stye was situated in the lower right eyelid, but then that area seemed to have cleared and the other styes in the upper area were raised. I am on Doxycycline oral tablets, Maxitrol eyedrops, and Maxitrol ointment at night. I have been on medication for the past few weeks and will continue for several weeks more. The swelling has gone down a bit, but my eye is still quite inflamed. This is worrisome as I assume this condition will progress even further. Is there any advice on how to stabilize this condition? It has been helping me, but I am unable to return to the internest who prescribed this as I don't have Health Insurance. Now my right eye seems to be swelling. I can still see, but I have noticed that vision isn't as great as it has been. I have prescription glasses and I am due for a check up. I have been seeing an Optomotrist (sp?) and need to see an Optomologist (sp?) next time. I am not sure if this related to the Rosacea as it started happening after my Rosacea flared up. I am also Diabetic type II. So I am concerned if there is any OTC relief? And if that would help my eye swelling to go down? Concerned....
