Yea i disagree with Dr Soldo too. I believe that pre flushing before an IPL treatment increases your chance of destroying the vessels because they open alot wider and not a 100% of all facial vessels are permanently dialated in people with Rosacea. I only have permanent redness on the top half of my cheeks going under my eyes and across the bridge of my nose, the bottom half of my cheeks only flush when i drink beer or have spicy foods therefore meaning that they are not permantly dialated. Pre-flushing is very effective in people that only blush/flush easily and do not have Rosacea because they dont have any erythema (permanent facial redness). So if you are a blusher you should do things that make you flush and blush before you go for your treatments e.g drink coffee, have the heater on high in your car, eat spicy foods or have a couple of beers, it will increase your chances of destroying the vessels and over time your blushing will decrease!!!

I have read alot of forums over the internet of people who have completely rid themselves of blushing by having IPL or laser!!!

I don't buy into what dr soldo is saying. I had treatments done by Dr Bitter and we tried everything to preflush me. A lot of the facial vessels are not noticeable untill you flush. I strongly disagree with Dr Soldo. As a matter in fact it ticks me off that he even says that.
