I have had the same problem many times. Go on doxycycline until you beat the rosacea into submission completely. Then go to a topical. If you use foam like I do it is super important to shake the vessel vigorously in order to thoroughly mix in the active ingredient (mine is sulfacidimide). Different putups work for different folks. If a flareup recurs go back on the tetra for about three weeks and then return to the topical. Important: you are trying to beat a bacteria. Keep your hands super clean. Lather up soap on your index finger and thumb and epwash out the inside of your nostrils daily when you shower. Rinse with fresh warm water on your fingers and blow your nose gently to make sure you get all the soap and water out. This process works for me very well. I will stay in remission for several months. I only use the foam before bedtime. This allows it to work really well overnight.

Stop using the Finacea on the tip of your nose..This will stop the burning!!..When did you see a Skin Specialist last?..Perhaps you could ask your Doctor if Eryacne would help?..(The tip of your nose)..I am not trying to be smart..I am a 3rd generation Aboriginal (Australia) with an 18 year history of Rosacea..I am now 88years old...My Rosacea did not start till later in life..To date Intense Pulse Light has helped...My biggest relief comes from applying (2 or 3 times daily) the face of an aluminium coffee Tamper (kept in the freezer department of my fridg)). to my cheeks for 5minutes at a time on either side..Lifting it now and then if it gets too cold... I carry out this procedure when my cheeks or nose start to burn, or turn red (blushing)))... With this ongoing treatment life is O.K...I keep the Rosacea under control...Sleeping on your back is a necessity with Rosacea..Burying your face in the pillow can start you off to a miserable day..I apologise for warbling on..By the way you DON'T have to fair skinned or a decendant Celt..I'm not.. My people have lived on the plains of Adelaide (South Australia) for 40,000 years..Perhaps I am the first of my people to be so afflicted..pitanjara
