I'm Dr. Adam Beall, and I an a general and cosmetic surgeon in Miami, FL. I saw the most impressive treatment this week. Dr. Newman, the inventor of the VeinWave pinpoint focused microwave energy treatment for Rosacea performed a live demonstration for me here in Miami. He used his machine to totally and instantly eliminate the superficial vascularity that causes the facial blemishes and skin redness.

This thing is amazing, the needle-sized probe touches (not breaks) the skin. The vessel is lightly compressed, a 0.2 second focused pulse of microwave energy passes through the vein and zap, thermocoagulation to 85 degrees C at that one tiny spot, and the vein is gone. He just zaps along the veins and they die. Over the next month all the veins break down and are absorbed back into the body and that's it. The whole procedure takes 20 minutes to an hour. (Rosacea can be intensely dense so usually multiple treatments are required but the results are still instantaneous).

It was the most impressive treatment I've ever seen, and soon we will be inplementing it into our practice.
