Q: So, the world is ending next Tuesday and you have been instructed to fill an indestructible capsule ( a box, 2'x2'x2') with stuff that sums up the story of humankind (forget the animals and plants, a dolphin is doing that). What would you put in it, so that an alien, perhaps millions of years from now, gets a good idea of what we're about?

A: The way the world is going, I'd be tempted to put in a celebrity gossip mag and leave it at that. (speechless)

Q: Would you rather be on an ocean liner or a jaunty little yacht? Alternatively, would you rather be an ocean liner or a jaunty little yacht?

A: Jaunty little yatch. Perhaps it's the word "jaunty" that conjers up thoughts and feelings of happiness in itself and perhaps your own answer Aurelia, by the use of the word? A jaunty little yatch can move around with greater ease on the water. I imagine it to have character and charm. All makes for a happy life in a carefree environment. Being an ocean liner holds too many responsibilities.

(To GJ's Q...if the world were to end next Tuesday, I wouldn't bother filling a box. Why waste the time left?! I wouldn't be around if aliens found it anyway, unless Scotty beams me up. LOL)

Q: What is the worst thing you did as a teenager?

I was very fond of my grandad. He lived, literally, just up the road from me. On his 80th birthday a party was held and friends and family came from far and wide, from all parts of the country. For some portion of the party I sat next to him and monopolised his time, perhaps preventing those folks from distant places spending time with him. Unforgivable. I'm not joking. The unfortunate manslaughter of a neighbour, the constant petty theft and starting of fires, are mere trifles in comparison.

That bit's a joke.

Old folk often tell me " I would hate to be young nowadays, like you Gary (;) ". If you could go back to being a teenager, would you?

Terry Jones. His physical characteristics are very unwomanlike, yet he played the female roles with such unabashed brio it's difficult not to smile at the though of it. Very likeable and discerning fellow too.

What is your customary walking speed? Do you cut a dash through other pedestrians or amble along?

Q: What is your customary walking speed? Do you cut a dash through other pedestrians or amble along?

A: These days I amble along, but for most of my life, my natural walking speed was very fast. Once, living all alone in North London, my route home passed a shop run by a young Caribbean gentleman with a gloriously laid-back accent and the style to match. Eventually, he said to me "Your man must treat you very badly that you are always having to rush home. Don't let him be mean to you!" (blush)

Q: Are you of the school that, when faced with bad news, prefers to hear that news naked and unvarnished, or are you of the ilk that prefers to live in happy and blissful ignorance of the nightmare you're facing? (Direct quote from Kryten, a series 4000 mechanoid from the old British sci fi comedy 'Red Dwarf').

A: Ah Red Dwarf, what a great serie that was.

Hmmm, to answer your question I prefer my bad news very blunt, without any extras. It's better to get it over with. I'd much rather have help dealing with it, once I know what I have to deal with...

Q: Which was your favourite TV serie ever?

A: Not sure that I have a favourite but I do like the oldies like Bewitched, I Dream of Jeanie, Get Smart. Was a bit of a Buffy fan some years back but I got over that, sort of. The new Twilight series of books being made into movies, to me, is like a retake of Buffy, in a slightly different way. Can't understand how the author is being mooted as the next J K Rowling! Sheesh! The Harry Potter movies have way more on Twilight et al, in my opinion.

Oh, feel the need to add that I tire of series on TV that copy. Yup, you get one good detectivce-type show, then they make more and more. One good home and garden show, then they make more and more. Where is the originality in it all?!

Q: Oh, maybe that could be my question?! LOL What do you think about TV series that copy and/or add on. For example, CSI; CSI Miami; CSI New York or NCIS now also NCIS New York etc. Do you think the producer(s) are riding on coat tails?

A: Imho the tide of copy-cat series is unimaginative and certainly hoping to ride on the coat-tails of others. I ignore them.

Q: Have you ever had a dream city? May we be let in on the secret, please? (shh)

A: Over the years, I have visited many cities, when I was a travel agent. I travelled all over the world. Can't say that I have a dream city but then it all depends on the people one meets in that city. I'm not a city type of girl. But if there was one out there, I like Vancouver. In reality, if I could make it reality, I would live a ferrel life on a remote island. With young kids, that's just not possible in today's litigious society!

Q: Have you ever thought about escaping from the so-called "rat-race"? If so, why?
