Just so everyone know. I tried Cetaphil moisturizing cream a week ago and spotted redness started on my face. Than I feel confused because I have no problem with Cetaphil gental skin cleanser and used it for years.
So I check the ingredients online. It seems an ingredient called benzyl achohole is something causing the redness (which is not in the cleanser) and somewhat flaking. So be aware to this everyone.

Hi I have been using cetaphil gentle wash and cetaphil moisturizer for over 1 year now as I cant use frangrance, lanolin ,nickel.

My skin is much better now and the dermatologist said she couldnt see any signs of dryness, I have been taking erthromycin antibiotics for some time now which seems to help a bit with pustules.

I have also tried zinc and caster oil cream used for babys bots on my spots and some redness under makeup this week. I think because of the zinc it may work as a suncreen also takes away some redness, difficult to wash of if overdone. Also I have no idea if it could cause my skin to get worse would be glad of any comments.

Hi i’ve been diagnosed with Rosacea.i have very sensative skin and am at my wits end as to what i should use!!!!Rozea cream doesn’t do much for me.Thank heavens for NUDE powder,it does cover it up somewhat.Sunscreen?which one? HELP!!!!!!

Hi I have been using cetaphil gentle cleanser plus the cetaphil moisturizing cream because it states fragrance free Lanolin free on rosacea skin I also get pustules. I am interested in finding a sunscreen that does not contain the ingredients Fragrance,lanolin,nickel because of allergy to these ingredients. I was first diagnosed with sebboreic derm, then rosacea with pustules and test then taken for allergy.
It has been over a year since first diagnosed so would be interested in hearing from anyone who knows of a sunscreen that would be suitable for my skin.

Hi Rouge,

I use the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion (not the cream as discussed here) every day after shaving and it works quite well for me. It gets absorbed well and definitely helps avoid that dry slightly irritated feeling afterwards.

Any suggestions for sunscreen for sporty people who are getting very sweaty in hot climates and swim? Protection from the sun verses clogging of pores with waterproof and harsh chemicals?

I have been diagnosed with Rosasea and been trying different remedies.
I need to know in what order to apply Metrogel,skin moisturiser and Sunscreen.

I am usinf etrigel, Cetaphil Cleanser, Cetahil moisturing lotion and SP 50 sunscreen.

My face has always been “rosy” and becomes more so with exposure to the elements, which doesn’t help because I spend a lot of time outdoors.

I started using the Made from Earth Rosehip Hibiscus Serum last summer to soothe my skin before and after a day in the sun.

As someone who has been burned a few times buying products that claim (very convincingly) to be phenomenal, and also as someone who NEVER writes reviews, I felt compelled to write this one.

My husband had very bad rosacea on his face. We tried many different creams, some commercial, some alternative “all natural”. He had no real luck. Then we came across a recommendation for the Made from Earth skin care line. There we found the Rosehip & Hibiscus Face Serum, which is ideal for rosacea. At $15 a bottle – we had nothing to lose since we alreday tried all the xpensive treatments that did not work!
It was inexpensive and having been burned before, I thought at least we’d only be out $15. I never expected it to work.

My husbands Rosacea is gone. Seriously. He uses this every day. He noticed a difference in a month of continious daily use. Buy it – it is worth the price and more.
