Hi, I wonder if anyone can tell me if there is any complications for patients taking arnica pre operatively having breast reductions?
Some surgeons reckon that the patient bleeds too much after taking it pre op but others say it's ok. Does anyone know for sure or could point me in the right direction of who to ask?

Thanks a million!

I have just had a "Mini Facelift" in the surgeons rooms Wednesday evening. Unfortunately I had been given a Voltarin injection for pain from the Chirporactor 3 days prior to the operation.

When I now went for the lift, I did bleed a lot because of that, after 3 days I have developed very bad bruising on the one side of my face and very bad swelling. The bruising has gone under my eye and around, I look as if someone has punched me in the eye, and my cut was more around the lower part of my face to lift sagging jawline?? I wonder why the bruising has not gone down into the neck but up into my eye area.

The Surgeon told me to take arnica tablets and rub the oil on my face that is swollen, I have done this for a day and will continue until Monday......then I am due back at work, and just hope that the bruising has subsided and the swelling.

I have tried Arnica that is in a lotion prep for muscle soreness.(inflammation)

I tried it on my rosacea and it seemed to help alot in the first 4 weeks, but dried my skin out alot.

I would like to see more research since this beat out results from using metro cream and finacea.
